Overview

My client in the Atworth area requires experienced Mechanical Fitters.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and join materials.
• Install panels on vehicles.
• Seal joints with gel coatings.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any fabrication issues.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar role within the manufacturing or engineering sector.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.

Hours

Up to 44 hours per week. Typical pattern: Monday to Thursday; Friday included as applicable.
