About the job
  • Installing and maintaining a wide range of mechanical apparatus and associated ancillary equipment.
  • Undertaking risk assessment and associated paperwork, where required, of the relevant activities to ensure a suitable and effective safe system of work.
  • Assisting management in the programming of scheduled maintenance aligned to company requirements.
  • Installing and maintaining of water related plants, pipework and associated control equipment.
  • Liaising with management and general operatives to ascertain any repair and maintenance requirement that arise or need specific prioritisation
About the successful applicant
  • Level 3 qualification / equivalent or above in Mechanical Maintenance.
  • Have the ability to read and translate schematic and technical drawings.
  • Experience of working in the utility sector would be an advantage
  • Ability to problem solve and diagnose faults on machinery and equipment.
  • A full driving licence and there will be an element of working away with the role as and when required
