A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their Project Team. The successful candidate will manage mechanical projects related to wastewater treatment facilities in the Aberdeen area. Responsibilities include scope and design management, budget oversight, and risk management. Applicants should have solid experience in mechanical engineering, with knowledge of the oil, gas, or water sectors being advantageous. This role offers a collaborative environment with diverse opportunities.
My client are looking for an experience Mechanical Engineer to join their Project Team and works along with Project Managers / Electrical / Civil Engineers to deliver some MEICA Projects for Wastewater Treatments around Aberdeen areas. You will be responsible for managing and delivering some mechanical projects yourself also to support others to manage the design and delivery of mechanical scope for their projects.
Mechanical Engineering Knowledge and Experience is essential, good to have some Electrical or Civil Engineering Knowledge.
Steel Frame and Pipework Fabrication Design and Installation
Oil, Gas or Water sector experience (water experience most beneficial)
Highly competent in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Effective communication in both writing and verbally
Understand H&S requirement for each specific project and familiar with CDM2015
Project Management / Site Management experience
Good team player and responsible for the tasks given by the Team Leader.
