We are recruiting an Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Glasgow!

Role Summary

  • Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out to all Heating & Air-conditioning plant
  • Ensure that Evaporation Cooling Systems and Domestic water systems are maintained to comply with the requirements of the L8 standard.
  • Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in serviceable order at all times.
  • To carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to other site plant as required.
  • Ensure a professional image of CBRE Managed Services is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.


The successful candidate will be a Mechanical Engineer who is proficient in various disciplines, capable of handling a range of maintenance and repairs on-site. Their responsibilities include performing inspections, diagnosing and fixing equipment issues, conducting repairs across different systems, and ensuring smooth operations on site.

Hours
  • Monday - Friday
  • 8am-4.30pm
  • Overtime & weekend flexibility required
  • On-Call schedule available


Qualifications & Experience
  • Experience of maintaining Pumps, Motors and Valves
  • Sound understanding and experience of meeting health and safety obligations with regard to maintenance activities
  • Time served plumber to NVQ Level 3
