Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Hammersmith – Commercial Office – Client Facing – Up to £45,000

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Property company based near Hammersmith. CBW are currently recruiting for a Static Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based at a prestigious commercial office building based near Hammersmith station.

My Client is a well established FM provider that is privately owned and has 20+ years of experience providing a range of hard FM services across London and the home counties. They specialise within mechanical, electrical engineering, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration.

The site is a well known commercial office that is located 5 minutes away from Hammersmith station. Some of the lines that connect to Hammersmith are – Circle, Hammersmith & City, District line. Within the building it is a 10 store state of the art building with brand new equipment. This building is a corporate head office building holding one of the biggest companies in the world.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, plenty of overtime available, 26 days holiday + Bank holidays, further training and further career progression, call outs are required, 3% pension.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor the mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Pressurisation Units
• Cooling Towers
• Chillers
• Air Conditioning – Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment
• Monitor the BMS systems
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors
• Doing reactive works

Hours of work

• Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
• 8am to 5pm

Requirements

• Mechanically / Plumbing qualified – You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial or property maintenance
• Installation experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Happy to cover a large site
• Honest, hard working and reliable
