Overview

Mechanical Engineer – £40,000-£50,000 (Negotiable) – Warwickshire

YT Technologies are proud to announce a new partnership with a world-leading engineering consultancy company, based in Warwick. This company offers outstanding engineering services with a full focus on product design, covering mechanical, software and electronics.

In this new Mechanical Design role, you will work alongside other talented individuals on a diverse range of exciting and challenging projects, from well-known consumer products and novel transport solutions to safety-critical medical devices, knowing that your input makes a real difference to people’s lives.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mechanical design and product development across a range of projects, supporting the full design lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions.
• Apply engineering best practices to ensure product quality, reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• A 1st or Upper 2nd degree in mechanical engineering from a university with a strong engineering reputation, or an equivalent broad-based technical qualification.
• Experience working in a product design or development environment, applying CAE tools and computational techniques to deliver product solutions, utilising a wide range of manufacturing processes and materials.
• Based in the Warwick area and, by the commencement of employment, have the right to work in the UK.
• Knowledge and experience in low-volume rapid prototyping technologies as well as high-volume processes such as injection moulding.
• Lead by example with a “can do” attitude that inspires colleagues and clients.
