Job description
Overview

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic tradespeople to join our growing engineering family. Working in a challenging and diverse role where no two days are the same. Our skilled engineers provide delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services across a three separate sites.

You will join in the role of Mechanical Engineer, responsible for the service, maintenance and repairs on installations such as ventilation systems (AHU, Intake / extract), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCU's etc.) and water system assets, such as booster sets, chlorifiers, water heaters etc.

We are looking for someone who will be working across two sites, all under the same account. Located opposite each other.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver to the highest level of service for the client, answering queries, reporting defects and keeping stakeholders informed of site activities during service visits.
  • Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, and keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment.
  • Relevant qualifications such as C&G Level 3 or Level 5 / NVQ or HNC equivalent; knowledge of Health & Safety, Permit to Work procedures and safe systems of work.
  • Capability to perform manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces; willingness to participate in the On-Call Rota.
  • Good verbal and written communication, including the ability to use a mobile device.
  • Self-motivated, solutions-focused with the ability to work without supervision, and enjoy working as part of a team.
