A leading water company is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join their Waste Operations team. This role involves performing maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Candidates should have significant experience in mechanical/electrical systems and excellent communication skills. The position offers a salary of up to £45,000 per annum along with various benefits.
We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our Waste Operations team at Crossness STW. As the successful candidate, you will work in a multi-disciplinary team and carry out scheduled, unscheduled and emergency maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment in compliance with company procedures to minimise plant breakdown. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to Thames Water by performing a range of front-line activities, including operation, testing, routine checks, maintenance, and problem-solving to ensure services are delivered to time, cost, and quality standards. This will include planned and preventive maintenance of equipment to support the operation of the plant.
Base Location: Crossness - Abbey Wood, South East London - SE2 9AQ.
Working Pattern: 38 Hours Monday-Friday 7:30-3:36. Plus standby rota payments & overtime opportunities, increasing earning potential by up to a further £8,000-£10,000 per annum, upon completion of essential company training.
