A leading water management company is looking for an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Technician at Camberley Sewage Treatment Works. The role involves proactive maintenance of equipment with a salary up to £45,000 per annum. Candidates should be time-served apprentices with strong electrical skills and ideally a mechanical qualification. Additional earnings from standby and overtime can reach up to £10,000. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Technician to join our team at Camberley Sewage Treatment Works, GU15 3YL.
As the successful candidate, you will ensure that all equipment at our sewage treatment works is running safely and efficiently using proactive and reactive maintenance methods. You will inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair electrical and mechanical plant equipment. Working within the maintenance team, you will follow robust planned maintenance, get involved in minor installation projects, electrical fault finding, and emergency breakdown repairs to ensure our plant operates all year round.
Base Location: Camberley STW - GU15 3YL.
Working Pattern: 38 Hours Monday- Friday 7:30 am – 3:36 pm. Plus standby & overtime opportunities increase earnings by a potential £8,000 - £10,000. All PPE and tools are provided.
Qualifications: You must have previous experience in an electrical apprenticeship, ONC/HNC in engineering, NVQ, or C&G level 3 in Electrical engineering, with an upskill in mechanical NVQ2/3 is crucial.
