1 X MECHANICAL & 1 X ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Location: RIPLEY

Shift: 3 SHIFTS

Salary: £46,550.54 + BONUS

We are seeking motivated maintenance engineers to join a leading manufacturing company. You will play a key role in maintaining the production facility, involved in both planned and reactive maintenance. The company offers ongoing training and development, fostering a supportive environment for engineers seeking their next challenge within a stable organization.

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance to minimize downtime
  • Reduce reactive work and increase proactive, continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ensure safe operation of machinery and improve site facilities, including buildings, offices, production lines, and warehouse
  • Maintain equipment such as mixers, rollers, extruders, CNC machinery, packaging machinery, cooling and cutting machinery, belts, chains, bearings, and gearboxes
  • Fault finding on PLC systems

Skills and Qualifications

  • Time-served electrical or mechanical maintenance engineer (apprenticeship)
  • 3-5 years' practical experience in a process-oriented environment
  • Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and lean maintenance
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible regarding working hours, shifts, and plant locations; willingness to handle call-outs and key holder responsibilities
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • IT literacy, including office software and CMMS systems
