Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer required for a global manufacturer based in Wolverhampton.

The successful Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer will be responsible for delivering bespoke engineering solutions across an existing product range. You will be responsible for producing drawings using SolidWorks and producing accurate Bills of Materials. This is an onsite role the successful candidate will need to live within a commutable distance of Wolverhampton.

Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer Responsibilities:

• Develop bespoke engineering solutions
• Produce equipment drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMS)
• Generate component drawings and support manufacturing documentation
• Provide technical support to internal teams and external customers
• Prepare operating instructions and supporting documentation for bespoke equipment
• Gather test results and compile technical reports

Mechanical Design Engineer / Design Engineer Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant qualification would be advantageous
• Experience in a similar role within a mechanical or manufacturing engineering environment
