Mechanical Design Engineer – Bangor, County Down

We’re working with a long-standing fabrication firm in Bangor who are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team. With strong local roots and the backing of a larger group, they’re well set for growth and can offer the right person both stability and progression.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be using CAD to take concepts right through to manufacture, working closely with the fabrication team to make sure designs are practical, efficient, and built to last. Projects vary from precision components through to large-scale assemblies, covering sectors like aerospace, utilities, and manufacturing – so there’s plenty of variety to keep you engaged. This is a hands-on design role where you’ll actually get to see your work go from drawing board to finished product, not just sit on a screen.
