Job Description
- Develop detailed mechanical designs and technical drawings to meet project requirements.
- Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and efficiency.
- Conduct calculations and simulations to verify design integrity and performance.
- Prepare and review documentation, including design specifications and reports.
- Liaise with clients to gather requirements and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Work within industry standards and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance.
- Provide technical support during the manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Identify and propose improvements to enhance design and production processes.
The Successful Applicant
- A degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in using CAD software for design and modelling.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on technical details.
- Experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Knowledge of materials, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
- A proactive approach to meeting deadlines and project goals.
