Position: Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

Location: Tower Hamlets, London

Contract: Fixed-Term (January - July)

Salary: London MPS/UPS

As a Secondary Maths Teacher on supply for this Client, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment requirements
• Use a variety of teaching strategies to support learners with diverse abilities and needs
• Adapt confidently to new classroom settings and contribute positively to the school's learning community

Person Specification & Requirements

• To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent UK-recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Maths at KS3 & KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with the ability to maintain a purposeful learning environment
• A secure understanding of planning, marking and differentiation
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
• Overseas police checks if applicable
• Professional references covering the last 10 years where possible
• Legal right to work in the UK
