Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maths teacher for a secondary school-based role in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Northeast (postcode NE3 5HP). The position is full-time and interim, with start options available immediately or from October half term 2025.

If you have experience in secondary education and are available to discuss a new teaching opportunity in the Northeast, we would be keen to speak with you. We are a family-run recruitment business specialising in Education with over 15 years of experience supporting education settings and candidates across primary, secondary and SEND divisions. Flexible working patterns can be discussed depending on your requirements. The SEMH provision is expanding across the trust, creating multiple posts.

Note: If you are an experienced secondary Maths specialist, you will have planned and delivered the curriculum across KS3/KS4 or GCSE level and will be able to teach a group of up to 8 students.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a group of up to 8 students.

Qualifications
  • A relevant UK-based qualification.
  • Substantial experience working within an education setting.
  • All required documents for safer recruitment, including valid right-to-work proof and a valid Enhanced DBS.
  • Exceptional references.
