Role: A Level Maths Lecturer

Location: Lancashire

Type: Temporary - Full Time

Rate: 190 - 250

Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated A Level Maths Lecturer for a Further Education College in Lancashire.

This is a full time temporary role to start asap until Christmas initially potentially longer delivering Maths A Level to year 1 and year 2.

You will deliver high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment to A Level students, supporting them to achieve excellent outcomes and develop strong mathematical understanding.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach A Level Mathematics (and, if applicable, Further Mathematics) to 16-19-year-old learners
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles
  • Prepare, mark, and assess student work in line with awarding body requirements
  • Track student progress and provide timely feedback and support
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
  • Participate in departmental meetings, professional development, and quality assurance processes
  • Support learners pastorally and academically to ensure excellent retention and achievement
Requirements
  • A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards one
  • Experience teaching A Level Mathematics
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilitiesA commitment to inclusive practice and continuous professional development
