A healthcare provider in Dartford is seeking a part-time NMC Registered Nurse/Midwife to lead a vaccination service for pregnant women. The role involves delivering influenza, pertussis, and RSV vaccinations, alongside health assessments. Essential qualifications include being a registered nurse and possessing competency in administering vaccines. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to public health. This is a Band 5 permanent position with a salary range of £32,602 to £39,686 per annum, pro rata.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS ROLE WILL NOT BE SPONSORED. Candidates must have suitable the right to work in the UK independently, as visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team delivering a safe and effective vaccination service for pregnant women across multiple sites under the remit of DGT maternity services.
They will lead on the vaccination service for the delivery of the influenza, pertussis and RSV vaccinations including additional requirements pertaining to the maternity screening service.
They will also be involved in the promotion of vaccinations and screening in pregnancy and support staff to increase awareness of healthy pregnancy choices to our maternity service users.
