Responsibilities

• Sectioning steel and cast iron products & preparing samples
• Microscopy, hardness testing & failure analysis
• Assessing raw materials and product properties
• Performing fatigue and corrosion testing
• Investigating product failures and reporting on findings
• Setting up & running lab tests in line with technical standards
• Supporting quality assurance activities and supplier accreditation
