Overview

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Materials Handle/ Fork Lift Truck Driver to support our client's production operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving, booking in, and allocating materials, as well as handling materials and waste. This role is key to ensuring machining areas remain supplied, organised, and operating efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a forklift to move and store materials
  • Book in received materials using the internal system, ensuring accurate data entry and stock control.
  • Allocate material to machines in line with production requirements.
  • Move containers, and other waste materials to designated areas.
  • Manual handling of materials and lifting
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Support general warehouse/ production, and material-handling tasks as required.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience operating a forklift (valid certification required).
  • Experience using a CRM system to book in materials.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Experience working in a machine operated environment in manufacturing would be beneficial
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
