The Materials Characterisation Team in the client’s Global Manufacturing & Supply division are seeking an enthusiastic scientist to join our team.
You will be responsible for carrying out experiments to characterise and compare different suppliers of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) using a range of analytical methods.
These techniques will include but not limited to particle size analysis, light microscopy & SEM, thermal analysis, solid form identification, spectroscopic methods, powder flow & density.
This data will be used to assess the potential risk to our drug product manufacturing processes by making this change and may include performance prediction assessment using small‑scale formulation prediction methods.
The data comparison will be summarised in a technical report.
