Master Data Supervisor

What you’ll be doing:
  • Primary activities include accurate and timely entry, review and distribution of master data, – you will be responsible for effective execution of data quality.
  • Our Business Partners will interact with this role on a day‑to‑day basis so delivering a high‑quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction is of prime importance.
  • Supervise day‑to‑day operations of the master data team, ensuring timely and accurate data entry and updates.
  • Implement and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Review and approve master data change requests for compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor data quality, identify issues, and lead root cause analysis and resolution.
  • Collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement, Sales, and other business units to support data‑related projects and initiatives.
  • Mentor and evaluate team members’ performance.
  • Generate reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs related to master data performance and integrity.
  • Support audits and compliance reviews related to master data processes.
  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance data lifecycle management.
Your skills and experiences:

Essential:

  • Previous team management experience.
  • Experience in a master data management role.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and best practices.

Desirable:

  • Data certifications (e.g. DAMA).
  • Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics; familiarity with Master Data Management tools.
  • Understanding of Chart of Accounts.
