Job description

Our marketing team is undergoing an exciting transformation - and we're looking for exceptional talent to join us. As we build a more digitally focused, data‑driven marketing function, we're investing in people who can own strategy and execution across paid search, SEO, and social media - working closely with best‑in‑class agencies.

Here, you'll have the autonomy to innovate, the data to make decisions, and the platform to make a visible impact. If you're driven by results, thrive in collaborative environments, and want to shape the future of legendary brands, this is your chance.

The Marketing Operations Manager is a senior operations role accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of all non‑digital shared services including marketing campaigns, fulfilment, and events across Protyre, MTS, and tyre brands (House, Premium, Specialist), supporting the Group's £150m+ annual revenue.

The job holder owns operational excellence and runs a unified operating model for all shared services, leading a team of three to execute flawlessly - on time, on budget, and to brief - enabling Brand Managers to focus on strategy and creative.

You will drive process optimization, automation, technology integration, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure agile, scalable, and fully compliant marketing operations in a fast‑paced automotive environment.

You will be fully accountable for operational cost efficiency, on‑time campaign delivery, compliance (ASA, GDPR, brand guidelines), supplier performance, and will provide monthly performance reporting and insights to the Marketing Leadership Team (MLT).

About the Role & About you

We're looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to lead the operational engine of our Marketing function driving efficiency, elevating execution, and enabling high‑impact campaigns across our national and local channels.

As Marketing Operations Manager, you will own the full end‑to‑end operations infrastructure that powers our campaigns, events, and dealer marketing activity. You'll lead a team of three (Campaign Executive, Marketing Fulfilment Executive & Event Manager), and act as the central hub connecting Brand, Digital, Creative, Retail/Wholesale, and external partners.

Your Responsibilities
  • Operational Planning & Leadership Develop and present the annual Marketing Operations Business Plan, with quarterly performance updates. Lead and develop three direct reports with clear objectives and annual reviews. Build a high‑performance, agile, and compliant team culture.
  • End‑to‑End Campaign Delivery Oversee national and local campaigns across digital, in‑center, and dealer channels. Ensure full brief adherence, run daily stand‑ups, remove blockers, and elevate risks early. Coordinate cross‑functional teams via weekly syncs and shared dashboards.
  • Fulfilment Excellence Manage POS production, merchandising, dealer kits, and print/digital workflows. Ensure high accuracy and on‑time dispatch across all fulfilment activity. Improve speed and efficiency using automation and print‑on‑demand solutions.
  • Events Portfolio Lead trade shows, dealer conferences, and center activations from planning to evaluation. Deliver improvements in attendee satisfaction and lead conversion. Manage venue sourcing, logistics, suppliers, and post‑event analysis.
  • Budget Ownership & Procurement Own the marketing operations budget, approving spend and negotiating supplier contracts. Manage PO systems, invoice tracking, and monthly P&L reporting. Drive cost efficiency across all operational activity.
  • Process Optimization & Automation Implement and optimize workflows in Monday.com, HubSpot, and Zapier. Automate briefing, approvals, asset routing, and reporting to reduce manual effort.
  • Compliance & Risk Management Ensure ASA, GDPR, and brand guideline compliance across all outputs. Conduct pre‑launch audits, maintain a compliance log, and elevate risks proactively.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track OTIF, costs, quality, and digital metrics using PHOCAS, Monday.com, and Google Analytics. Present the monthly Operations Performance Deck to the Marketing Leadership Team.
  • Health & Safety Ensure Health & Safety compliance across fulfilment, logistics, and event activity.
Qualifications

• An operational expert with strong project management and workflow optimization skills.

• Experienced in leading teams and delivering multi‑channel marketing activity.

• Analytical, commercially minded, and confident managing budgets.

• A natural problem‑solver who can simplify complexity and drive efficiency.

• Skilled in tools such as Monday.com, HubSpot, Zapier, and Excel.

• Comfortable working at speed, with exceptional attention to detail.
