Job description

Are you an FMCG marketer who knows how to make brands win at the point of purchase and the point of decision?

Do you enjoy building B2B marketing strategies that genuinely support sales teams and customers?

Are you excited by the challenge of growing drink brands across hospitality, foodservice, and retail channels?

MacGregor Black are excited to partner with a Global Leader in the Beverage Industry to appoint a Marketing Manager – FMCG & B2B Drinks Category. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in the Northampton area, playing a pivotal role in increasing brand visibility and accelerating category growth across foodservice, hospitality, and retail channels throughout the UK & Ireland.

This role is ideal for a marketer with FMCG and B2B experience who enjoys translating consumer and category insight into commercial action. You’ll own the UK B2B marketing plan—turning insight, innovation, and storytelling into campaigns that help customers win with great-tasting beverages.

From national trade shows to digital lead generation and account-based marketing, this is a hands‑on role with real commercial impact.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and execute customer marketing plans across hospitality, foodservice, and retail channels
  • Drive business growth through demand‑generation campaigns, sales enablement tools, and digital marketing
  • Develop and deliver trade events, including activation concepting, stand experience design, and pre/post‑event campaigns
  • Lead integrated campaigns across drinks, equipment, and complementary products—seasonal activity, NPD launches, and co‑brand partnerships
  • Improve digital performance across owned channels, including e‑commerce and social media
  • Own brand positioning, product strategy, and category partnerships across the UK & Ireland
  • Manage external agencies and suppliers, ensuring high‑quality delivery on time and on budget
  • Own the UK marketing budget with clear reporting and performance insight
  • Lead, coach, and develop a Marketing Executive
  • Champion category insight and competitive intelligence to identify growth and whitespace opportunities
What We’re Looking For:
  • A confident marketer with FMCG, B2B, foodservice, or hospitality experience
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Commercially focused, creatively minded, comfortable using data to guide decisions
  • Strong experience writing briefs and evaluating creative work
  • An effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience managing agencies and developing people
  • Interest or experience in digital marketing, including search and social
  • Proactive, motivated, and comfortable travelling for events or customer activity when required
  • Degree or CIM qualification is beneficial but not essential—attitude, energy, and capability matter most
Why You Should Join:
  • You’ll work on one of the UK’s most recognisable and culturally relevant drink categories
  • Your marketing will directly influence commercial performance—not just awareness
  • You’ll have the freedom to innovate, shape strategy, and see your work come to life across the industry
