Responsibilities

The Marketing Graduate Programme will take you through an intense, demanding but incredibly rewarding two years of structured development across the three core areas of Marketing:

  • Media & Strategy: strategic planning, marketing strategy and media. Work with agencies; plan and buy media to ensure Lidl advertising is seen in the right place, at the right time, by the right people.
  • The Campaigns team: project managing all brand, trade driving & business as usual campaigns from development to implementation. Work with in-house teams and external creative agencies; manage all channels for a campaign from TV to radio, instore to online.
  • The Engagement team: build relationships with customers through partnerships, events and comms; coordinate with international colleagues on partnerships (e.g., UEFA) and local store marketing/events; manage PR and awards.

Across each team, you will work alongside and feed into our inhouse production and creative team, who design, artwork and create everything from stills to moving image and beautifully photography.

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2:2 degree (in any discipline), awarded in 2024, 2025 or 2026, but must be graduated by September 2026
  • Experience working within a marketing-based role is advantageous
  • Passion for working as part of a team and ability to work independently
  • Desire to learn, develop and challenge yourself in a demanding and dynamic environment
  • A naturally analytical mind-set with plenty of common sense
  • Attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial flair, adaptable and highly driven
  • Decisive and able to cope with the pressure of demanding targets and deadlines
  • Communicates confidently and effectively
  • Already live - or happy to relocate - within a one-hour commute of Lidl GB Head Office, Tolworth, Surrey
  • To be legally entitled to work in the UK on a full-time basis
  • German language skills desirable but not essential
