Overview
You'll be working on our commercial fiction, with a focus on romance, historical and women's fiction. In this role, you will work alongside our team to plan and execute campaigns for our titles and grow our online communities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for your titles that maximise reach, drive sales and revenue, including setting up and managing social advertising and digital campaigns
- Actively contribute to the strategy and growth of our direct-to-consumer and influencer marketing channels, helping to grow them through social channel and newsletter management
- Manage Embla's social media, including Facebook, TikTok and Instagram looking at further opportunity channels
- Create engaging multi-platform content in line with consumer insights and trends tailored to different readers
- Build relationships with influencers, bloggers, bookstagrammers and booktokers
- Analyse campaign performance and use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimise future marketing efforts
- Work closely with the team to maximise digital price promotions (Kindle deals)
- Support the Head of Digital Marketing on series author and brand marketing campaigns to ensure they are best in class
- Actively participating in Embla's acquisition discussions
- Assist with administrative duties including design, mailings, assisting with invoicing processing and attending events and shoots
- Support a culture of collaboration and transparency, as well as deliver best-in-class author care, working closely with the sales, editorial and audio teams
Qualifications and experience
- Youll have a passion for learning and honing your digital advertising skills and a love of content creation and social media trends.
- Youll have demonstrable experience in direct-to-consumer marketing, and be passionate about bringing creative marketing campaigns to life.
- We're looking for a marketer who is able to thrive in a fast-paced environment as a team player, with strong communication and organisation skills.
