Marketing Executive - 9 Month Contract

We are currently recruiting for a Marketing Executive to join our Global client, as someone who knows how to turn targeted email campaigns into real business results, whilst having an understanding of basic engagement insights of the work being published. This role is starting immediately, so you must be available immediately or have less than a 2 week notice period.

This is a 9 month Maternity cover post, where you will be able to enjoy hybrid working from the Glasgow office. You will work a 35 hour week, Monday - Friday. This role is offering a competitive salary of £16 - £20 per hour, depending on relevant marketing experience that can be brought to the role.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of retention, in-life, cross-sell and renewal email campaigns.
  • Partner with analytical teams to track performance and continuously optimise KPIs.
  • Build targeted journeys: identifying the right audience, timing, channel and creative to deliver measurable ROI.
  • Collaborate with Product, Sales, Finance, Operations and global marketing teams to align activity and amplify impact.
  • Support new product launches with smart, effective lifecycle communication.
  • Work with agencies to deliver standout digital campaigns across email, SMS and online channels.
  • Use customer insights and segmentation to tailor communications for maximum engagement.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
  • 3+ years' experience in customer engagement or lifecycle marketing, with hands-on email and database marketing expertise.
  • Strong understanding of CRM platforms (e.g., Eloqua, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Unica, Pega NBA).
  • Commercial mindset: comfortable with numbers, performance metrics and optimisation.
  • A proactive, collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment.
  • Creative, innovative and able to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
