Job description

Your Tasks

• Manage all marketing and communications activities for BELECTRIC in the UK market, in close alignment with the German headquarters
• Act as the main point of contact for all country‑specific marketing activities initiated by the German marketing team
• Manage and grow media relationships in the UK, act as the main point of contact for UK media enquiries, and create and distribute UK‑specific press releases
• Support the organisation and delivery of internal and external events in the UK, primarily trade fair appearances
• Suggest, develop, and adapt internal and external communications topics (e.g., for intranet, website, social media) relevant to the UK market, in collaboration with the German Communications team
• Conduct native speaker checks and adaptations of English‑language communication materials produced by the German team to ensure clarity, tone, and cultural relevance
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives in the UK, promoting the company as an attractive place to work
• Ensure brand consistency across all UK communications and marketing activities
• Track and report on media coverage, event success, and other key communications KPI’s in the UK

Your profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience in a similar role in Marketing, Communications or PR
• Well‑established network of media contacts in local and national press, with a track record of securing high‑quality coverage
• Degree in Communications / Journalism / Marketing or comparable completed training
• Demonstrated experience in planning, coordinating, and delivering events such as trade fair appearances
• Fluent in English is essential; knowledge of German is an advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Willingness to travel
• Good knowledge of CMS systems and the Adobe Creative Cloud programmes InDesign and Photoshop
• Experience in the energy / renewable energy industry

We are specialised in the design, construction and operation of large‑scale solar farms. After seven years of mainly focusing on O&M activities in the United Kingdom, BELECTRIC UK returned to the market as an EPC service provider with full force in 2022.

Operations & Maintenance

Our O&M service offers solar and battery storage system operators an all‑in‑one solution to secure and improve their systems. The BELECTRIC UK team provides O&M services for more than 25 PV power plants with a total installed capacity of more than 300 MWp throughout the country.

Battery Storage Systems

We do not only support our customers in the field of photovoltaics, but also as a general contractor in the engineering and purchasing of battery storage solutions. On the UK market, hybrid systems are becoming increasingly important.
