Job description
Overview

We are looking for a bilingual Production Supervisor to lead and support our production team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll oversee daily floor operations, ensure smooth and efficient workflows, and help maintain the highest standards of safety and quality. You’ll also play a key part in bridging communication across departments and supporting both English- and Spanish-speaking team members.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Work with management to set and communicate daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor resources to keep workflows running smoothly.
  • Provide translation and transcription support for meetings, training, and communication with shop personnel.
  • Communicate job expectations clearly to production staff.
  • Ensure all quality and safety standards are met; address issues quickly with corrective actions.
  • Maintain workflow by monitoring process variables and enforcing SOPs.
  • Train, coach, and mentor employees on job duties, equipment use, and safety practices.
  • Review and approve operator hours and PTO requests; assist with hiring and performance reviews.
  • Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns or grievances.
  • Promote workplace safety, enforce company policies, and maintain clean, organized work areas.
  • Partner with purchasing, engineering, lab, and warehouse teams to resolve production challenges and improve processes.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment while understanding complex operations.
Education/Experience Required
  • Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role in manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly self-motivated with results-driven approach.
  • Experience in Quality Management System adherence.
  • Proven track record for meeting or exceeding quantitative safety, production, and quality goals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
  • Dedication to continuous improvement.

Supervision, Product Manufacturing, Technical Understanding, Safety Management, Developing Standards, Managing Processes, Equipment Maintenance, Judgment.

Physical Demands/Work Environment

Facilities have multiple levels and require the ability to walk up and down stairs to routinely monitor and survey different areas. Must be able to walk outside between buildings daily. Ability to easily lift up to 50 pounds, and frequently walk, stand, bend, push, pull, lift, grasp small objects for fine motor control.
