Qualifications

  • Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in automotive, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing and process control.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive, hands-on approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and industrialisation of new manufacturing processes.
  • Create and maintain process documentation including PFMEA, control plans, and SOPs.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and waste-reduction initiatives.
  • Define equipment specifications and oversee commissioning activities.
  • Optimise material flow using Lean tools such as VSM, MIFA, and Yamazumi.
  • Support training and capability development across operations teams.
  • Apply SPC and other analytical tools to monitor and improve process capability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to drive performance.

Your new role
