Manufacturing Operator - Night Shift

Location: Perth
Pay Rate: £15.18 per hour (includes 20% night shift uplift, paid weekly)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 20:30 - 07:00
Assignment Length: Minimum 6 months (temporary)

Manpower is currently recruiting Manufacturing Operators for a night shift role based in Perth. This is a minimum 6-month temporary assignment, ideal for someone looking for steady hours, weekly pay, and the chance to build experience in a manufacturing environment.

About the role

You’ll be working as part of a supportive team, helping with production and packaging tasks while following clear processes and quality standards. The work is hands‑on and fast‑paced, but full training will be provided.

What you’ll be doing
  • Following standard operating procedures and work instructions
  • Completing basic production paperwork
  • Operating and monitoring production equipment
  • Setting up materials for production runs
  • Inspecting, packing, labelling, and sealing products
  • Cleaning and sanitising work areas and equipment
  • Carrying out line clearance and general housekeeping
What we’re looking for
  • A good level of general education
  • Manufacturing or lab experience is helpful, but not essential
  • Clean room experience is a bonus
  • Someone who can follow instructions and work well in a team
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑moving environment
  • Basic computer skills are useful
Health and safety
  • You’ll be on your feet for most of the shift
  • Some lifting involved (up to 50 lbs)
  • Full PPE must be worn at all times
  • No makeup or jewellery due to clean room requirements
