A leading global food company in the UK is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to oversee technical operations at their Tutbury Factory. The role involves providing technical support, ensuring compliance with safety and quality, and driving machinery performance improvements. We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Engineering Technician , to join our team based at our Nestlé UK&I, Tutbury Factory. This is a permanent opportunity which will report into the Manufacturing Asset Maintenance Manager.
This role is responsible for maintaining and developing the equipment and systems within the factory in a manner that upholds the quality of the operation, with regards to production output, product quality and cost effectiveness.
Nestlé Tutbury Factory in Staffordshire is one of the largest Nestlé factories in Europe after circa £500 million investment over the last few years. The factory is a Centre of excellence for Nescafé products around the world producing freeze‑dried, spray dried and pod coffee technologies and is at the forefront of coffee innovation globally.

Ultimately, you will be responsible for all technical matters on shift across your area of the factory.
You will be working to drive improvements in the performance of machinery and assets, technically supporting the shift leader and developing the technical skills within the engineering and operational teams.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a Manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate engineering knowledge across maintenance, industrial services and automation.
