Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement post-processing sequences including support removal, surface finishing, heat treatment, and coating.
- Develop and execute Design of Experiments (DOEs) to optimise and validate manufacturing steps.
- Create detailed work instructions and documentation to ensure repeatability and quality.
- Analyse manufacturing data to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Collaborate with internal teams to transition prototype processes into scalable production.
- Support audits and technical reviews with comprehensive validation data.
Requirements
Essential:
- Bachelor s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and DOE methodologies.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX).
- Knowledge of GD&T, measurement systems, and quality control.
- Familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies.
Desirable:
- Advanced degree in engineering or materials science.
- Experience with automation and robotics in manufacturing.
- Industry knowledge in aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics.
- Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar.
- Experience with ERP/MES systems and digital manufacturing tools.
