Job description

We are recruiting for a “manual machine operator” for a production company based in the DE73, can be reached from Derby bus station, or Swadlincote bus station.

This role involves the operation of manual machines and training will be given to maintain, troubleshoot minor errors, along with preventative maintenance.

Requirements
  • Experience operating manual milling machines, grinders, or lathes desirable
  • Machine Operation – essential
  • Previous work in a mechanical or engineering workshop – desirable
  • Practical, hands‑on approach and good attention to detail – essential
  • Knowledge of press tools – desirable
  • Experience operating Jones & Shipman or Bridgeport machines – desirable
