Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Woking is looking for a Management Accountant with a salary of £50,000 to £55,000. The ideal candidate will assist with month-end preparation and manage the Purchase Ledger. This role offers career progression under a world-class Financial Controller. The candidate should be ACCA or CIMA finalist/newly qualified with excellent Excel skills and experience in Accounts Payable.

• Confident and professional manner.
• Excel proficiency is a must.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly sales reports for the global commercial team.
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and bank reconciliations.
• Oversee the management of the accounts payable ledgers.

Overview

Management Accountant - Woking (3 days on site) - £50,000 to £55,000 (finalist or newly qualified)

You will assist with month-end preparation as well as looking after the Purchase Ledger.

A bit more about your day-to-day activities in the job...

• Monthly sales reports for global commercial team
• Maintaining fixed asset schedules
• Bank reconciliations
• Accruals/prepayments schedule
• Monthly product reports for product managers
• Management and analysis of overheads
• Quarterly carbon reporting for group
• Management of key suppliers
• Assist in maintaining correct VAT treatment
• Oversee the running/management of the AP ledgers
• Assist in audit planning including providing information and working with external and internal auditors
