Job description

This company is fast becoming one of Lancashire's most successful trading businesses, with an impressive growth plan to expand into Europe. This is an exciting time to join the Senior Management team. With sites in the UK and part of a successful group, they are now seeking an experienced Management Accountant to report to the Financial Controller at their head office.

Responsibilities include:

1. Preparation of monthly management accounts, including detailed analysis and narrative on performance against budget
2. Cash flow management
3. Preparation of annual budgets and monthly/quarterly forecasts
4. Management of fixed assets and stock, including monthly stock takes
5. Management of ledgers and VAT
6. Preparation of year-end accounts and liaising with auditors

This role requires close collaboration with the entire business, so the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial decision-makers is essential.
