Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a driven Management Accountant to join their client's team. This role involves preparing and analyzing monthly management accounts, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and partnering with operational teams for financial insight. Ideal candidates will be part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA/ACCA) with at least 2 years of experience and solid Excel skills. The position requires a proactive individual who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded individual to take ownership of key financial processes, support strategic decision-making, and drive performance across the business - all from our clients on-site office.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts with accurate variance analysis.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Business partnering with operational teams to provide financial insight and cost analysis.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and financial reporting systems.
  • Support with audits, compliance, and year-end processes.
  • Identify and drive process improvements across the finance function.
About You
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2 years\' experience in a management accounting or financial analysis role.
  • Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build strong relationships across the business.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced on-site environment.
