Management Accountant: Derry/Londonderry

Permanent | Full-Time | £competitive | Office-based

REED Finance is delighted to be working in partnership with a thriving commercial company in the Northwest area in the appointment of an experienced Management Accountant to join their team.

Possessing at least 3 years' post qualification experience, the successful Management Accountant will be responsible for the effective operation of the finance and accounting functions across the group. This is a genuinely excellent career opportunity for a driven, hard-working Management Accountant to work alongside a commercial Financial Director. You will be an integral part of the Finance and Accounting function across the group.

Role & Responsibilities

• Ensures the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in line with internal controls and accounting standards.
• Produces and delivers clear, insightful management reports to support operational and strategic decision-making.
• Supports the preparation and submission of statutory filings, including annual financial statements and other regulatory documents.
• Fulfil treasury management activities as required.
• Contribute to special projects as directed.

The successful candidate will meet the following criteria

• Chartered Accountant (ACA) with 3 years' post qualification experience
• IT proficient, with strong financial modelling skills
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
• Ability to work flexibly and on own initiative
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good commercial skills
