Management Accountant - Ayrshire

Salary up to £50k (DOE) + Benefits

Lusona Consultancy are recruiting for a ‘Management Accountant’ to join a dynamic finance team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to play a key role in financial reporting and analysis, with a particular focus on inventory control and financial analysis.

Supporting the wider finance team, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial information, supporting operational teams, and ensuring robust controls are in place.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing daily inventory control, analysis, and reporting
  • Handling P&L variance account management
  • Completing allocated balance sheet reconciliations
  • Processing month-end stock reconciliations
  • Delivering key reports, including transactional and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Conducting waste management analysis and reporting
  • Producing monthly gross margin and revenue analysis
  • Performing tank farm analysis and reporting
  • Monitoring and analysing works orders, ensuring operational efficiency
  • Supporting operational teams in understanding processes, reports, and data
  • Managing banking, payments, and cashbook reconciliations
  • Contributing to ad hoc project work
Qualifications

Applicants will be considered if they are part-qualified, qualified by experience, or fully qualified. Ideally, candidates will have experience within a manufacturing environment. They should possess strong IT skills, particularly in Excel, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail with an analytical mindset. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential, along with being a confident communicator with persuasive skills.
