Job description

Sewell Wallis is partnering with a dynamic and fast-paced company located in central Harrogate, North Yorkshire, to recruit an ambitious, part-qualified Management Accountant.

As part of one of Yorkshire's fastest-growing businesses, you'll have the chance to advance your career while working under an inspiring Financial Controller. What will you be doing?

  1. As the Management Accountant you will play a crucial role in improving the month end process and taking the lead on all balance sheet reconciliations.
  2. You'll have a keen eye for knowing what good looks like and making recommendations on how processes and systems can be enhanced.
  3. Supporting with onboarding new acquisitions and integrating them effectively and accurately.
  4. Business partnering with multiple operational departments across the business including marketing, HR, IT and fleet management.
  5. Pulling together all financial information to produce accurate internal reports.
  6. Supporting your line manager with ad hoc projects as and when required.

What are we looking for?

  1. An experienced Management Accountant that is proactive, ambitious and dedicated to doing the best job possible.
  2. Part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA.
  3. An effective communicator who is keen on business partnering.
  4. Used to working in a fast paced and complex environment.
