Qualifications

Management Accountant

Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely management reporting, supporting strategic decision‑making, and improving financial processes.

Management Accountant Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis
  • Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
  • Monitor financial performance against KPIs and business targets
  • Maintain and enhance financial controls, ensuring compliance with policies and standards
  • Support statutory audit and external reporting processes
  • Review and optimise internal reporting tools and dashboards
  • Partner with operational and commercial teams including product, marketing, and sales
  • Assist with cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and cost analysis
  • Drive finance system improvements and automation initiatives
Management Accountant Skills & Experience Required
Essential
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or finalist with relevant experience
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a finance role, ideally within management accounting
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Ability to present complex data clearly to non-finance stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and collaborative approach
Desirable
  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or leisure industry
  • Familiarity with ERP / accounting systems and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of VAT and compliance in multi‑entity or cross‑border environments
