Job Title: Management Accountant / Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Northampton

Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Work Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

You'll play an important role within the UK finance team, contributing to accurate reporting and providing valuable insight to drive commercial and strategic decisions. From budgeting and forecasting to performance analysis, you'll help shape the future of the business during a time of transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, and internal management reports
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure strong internal controls
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and risk analysis activities
  • Partner with department heads to provide financial insight and guidance
  • Contribute to process improvements and ERP system development
  • Carry out regular balance sheet reviews and support planning cycles
About You
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • At least 2 years' experience in a commercial finance environment
  • Solid knowledge of core accounting principles
  • Strong Excel skills and confident across Microsoft Office
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and a clear communicator
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
