Qualifications

Position: Management Accountant

Location: Foxhills Club & Resort - Ottershaw Surrey

Type: Full-time on-site

Responsibilities
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations including bank reconciliations for both properties (Foxhills Club & Resort and Farleigh Golf Club)
  • Prepare month‑end journals for both sites
  • Run the payroll process for both sites in conjunction with the Human Resources team, Finance Manager, and Finance Director
  • Review supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding and budget compliance, and produce variance reports
  • Assist with supplier account reconciliations to support the Purchase Ledger Clerk in resolving issues
  • Become familiar with company operating systems and databases
  • Assist the Assistant Accountant and Purchase Ledger Clerk as required and participate in their development
  • Work with the Finance Manager to develop analytical reporting from databases to complement working processes
Requirements
  • Part‑qualified / Fully qualified: CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or QBE
  • Previous experience in month‑end processing and preferably producing management accounts
  • Experience in payroll is advantageous
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Strong math, typing, and computer skills, especially with bookkeeping software
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills
  • High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
  • Ability to travel to the office every day, including visits to Farleigh Golf Club, Croydon Surrey, CR6 9PE, as required
