A care service organization in Leicester seeks a Senior Support Worker to lead a team and provide high-quality care for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in care, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach. The role includes assisting with daily living tasks and ensuring care plans are implemented effectively.
ROLE: Senior Support Worker
LOCATION: The Chantry, LE3
SALARY: £13.60 - £14.20* per hour
HOURS: 42 hours a week
SHIFTS: 8:00AM - 3:00PM / 3:00PM - 10:00PM / 10:00PM - 8:00AM / 8:00AM - 10:00PM
At The Chantry we support people to develop coping techniques, which makes a noticeable difference to their everyday lives. We understand the importance of providing person-centred support that enables independence and meets each individual’s specific needs. Through our outcomes focused approach, we support people to maintain choice and control of their own lives. We provide 24 hour support in a homely environment for up to 13 adults with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs.
We seeking candidates with experience in care, particularly with learning disabilities and mental health. The ideal person is proficient in IT, a proactive "go-getter," and able to assist with cooking and daily living tasks. They should combine compassion, initiative, and practical skills to support individuals effectively.
The candidate must possess either experience in a similar role or three years as a support worker.
