Maintenance Technician (Plumber) – BN15, England

Location: American Express Stadium, Brighton & American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing.

Hours: 35 hours per week. Work will be scheduled in accordance with the maintenance rota, including evenings, weekends, and on‑call requirements.

Overview

The club’s in‑house maintenance team is looking for a reliable plumber to help keep our stadium, training grounds and associated facilities operating at the highest standard. You will be responsible for a range of plumbing tasks, both routine and emergency, and will support the wider maintenance staff to minimise disruption to club activities.

Responsibilities
  • Install, modify and repair plumbing systems, fixtures and fittings throughout the club’s facilities.
  • Conduct routine maintenance inspections and carry out general repair work.
  • Respond to emergency repair requests promptly, prioritising issues that impact club operations.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing problems using strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and adhere to relevant regulations and safety standards.
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team of maintenance professionals.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a plumber in a similar setting or high‑profile organisation.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, fittings and current regulations.
  • Strong problem‑solving ability and an independent, self‑motivated working style.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
