Job summary

A global supplier of precision engineering solutions is looking for an Electrical Engineer to maintain, repair, and improve machinery at their manufacturing site. You will carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and ensure compliance with safety standards. The position requires NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work under pressure. Qualifications

• Experience in Machine Tool environment.
• Proactive mindset with commitment to safety and quality.
• FLT / MEWP trained is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns quickly to reduce downtime.
• Diagnose electrical faults and implement solutions.

Skills

Fault finding and diagnostic skills

Knowledge of PLCs, motors, drives, and control systems

Ability to work under pressure

Experience with CMMS

Understanding of 5S and TPM practices

Education

NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
