Overview

Role: Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance Supervisor

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum, plus Benefits and career growth opportunities

Hours: Days Monday to Friday (8am - 4pm)

Location: Commutable from Fareham, Southampton, Cosham, Havant, Waterlooville and surrounding areas

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader / Maintenance Supervisor to work within a fast-paced factory environment. This is a hands-on role, with a roughly 60% hands-on and 40% management split. Your role is to support, complete and coordinate all maintenance activities in the factory including repairs being completed quickly and efficiently, proactive maintenance, and various projects.

Responsibilities

• Hands on and complete various maintenance tasks including breakdown repairs and PPMs.
• Motivate and lead a small team of Maintenance Engineers.
• Coordinate and champion the Planned Preventive Maintenance system.
• Coordinate various projects and contractors, as and when required.
• Help support continuous improvements in the factory.
• Take an active role in reporting on maintenance.

Requirements

• Experienced Maintenance Engineer who has leadership / supervisory experience — you could be working as a Maintenance Supervisor OR Maintenance Team Leader.
• Qualified in either mechanical or electrical engineering or similar.
• Mechanical OR Electrical OR Multi Skilled – hiring manager is open to any bias.
• Experienced in completing repairs and general factory maintenance to machinery and/or equipment.
• Ideally have some experience of motors, bearings, chains, gearboxes, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, sensors, relays, control panels.
• Holding passion, drive and love for Engineering.
