Maintenance Supervisor – Key Responsibilities:

• As Maintenance Supervisor, your main duties will include:
• Leading a team of maintenance engineers and technicians
• Planning and overseeing preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules
• Managing and responding to machinery breakdowns promptly
• Issuing permits to work, managing contractors and ensuring site safety compliance
• Supporting apprentices and mentoring junior team members
• Ensuring continuous improvement in plant reliability and efficiency
• This is a hands on role, requiring both leadership and technical ability in a fast paced manufacturing or production environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• To be successful in this role, you must have:
• Proven experience in reactive and planned maintenance within a manufacturing, production or process plant
• Previous supervisory or management experience in maintenance function
• Strong fault finding skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Familiarity with issuing permits to work and managing external contractors
• An apprenticeship background and relevant engineering qualification, City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
