Job summary

A facilities management company in Greater London is looking for enthusiastic Maintenance Operatives to handle repairs and maintenance across corporate estates. Responsibilities include performing minor repairs, conducting inspections, and participating in an Out-of-Hours rota. Candidates must have experience in maintenance, health, and safety awareness, along with a full UK Driving Licence. This is a full-time position with 35 hours per week and an immediate start available.

  • Perform minor repairs and general maintenance.

Job description

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Maintenance Operatives to join our team in Westminster. This role is essential to the repairs and maintenance team where you will be covering maintenance of corporate estates.

As a Maintenance Operative you will be responsible for covering Westminster and surrounding areas and duties will include:

  • Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance across our buildings
  • Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks, including PAT testing and water safety checks
  • Conduct regular building inspections to ensure compliance
  • Support landscaping, decoration, and general upkeep activities
  • Assist with fire marshal duties, first aid support, and out-of-hours site cover
  • Participate in a shared Out-of-Hours rota (1 week in 6) - receiving £100 additional pay plus overtime for callouts

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure full time hours Monday to Friday. You will be working a standard 35 hour week with an immediate start available.

You will need:

  • Experience in repairs and maintenance
  • An awareness of health and safety in the workplace (fire safety, legionella, asbestos, etc.)
  • A Full UK Driving Licence
