Strategically placed within the M25, CCEP Edmonton houses 7 production lines producing over 61m cases per year, equating to over 600m litres of product. It is the sole GB provider for Oasis, Bag in Box and Mega Bag in Box for McDonald's. The site produces 30% of all of CCEP’s volume per year and is one of the highest‑performing sites across Europe and Asia Pacific. Over 280 employees work across Manufacturing, Distribution, Planning and QESH, with more than 35% having gained internal promotions. What to Expect

The main purpose of the Maintenance Manager is to lead the site maintenance program and ensure all site assets—including manufacturing and processing equipment—meet specific site and legislative requirements. The role focuses on technical expertise, quick resolution, and maintaining customer service, safety, and quality without compromise. You will develop and execute the Maintenance Plan for complex beverage manufacturing lines to achieve asset care schedules, deliver accurate reporting, and drive efficiency improvements. Collaboration with site leaders and technical staff will assess the plan’s effectiveness and identify essential technical training requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Identify opportunities for improving line utilisation and machine reliability through the maintenance plan or Operational Excellence projects and share best practices across the site.
  • Engage with the Site Senior Engineering Manager to support technical projects, including budgetary and CAPEX experience.
  • Plan and prepare asset care interventions in a best‑in‑class manner, focusing on quality and speed of execution both during the work and as the line recovers from maintenance.
  • Actively involve in the recruitment and growth of the apprentice program.
  • Manage, mentor and develop the maintenance team, including technicians.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Manage M&R budget, controlling costs while maintaining high mechanical efficiency and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP and internal food safety and quality standards.
  • Liaise with external contractors and OEMs, ensuring value for money and quality service.
Skills & Essentials

The role requires the successful candidate to demonstrate improvements in asset care systems, mechanical efficiencies, and budget management. You must understand where to invest to make a difference, illustrate a proven track record in driving key KBI’s with strong people‑management and communication skills, perform under high pressure, and make sound, timely decisions without losing sight of the bigger picture.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Essential: Degree or HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Essential: Proven 3‑5 years experience as a Maintenance Manager or Engineering Manager in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of SAP.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH.
  • Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma.
  • Experience with TPM.
