Overview

Job duties for routine grounds maintenance, general laborer work, cashiering and heavy equipment operation; performs related work as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring site is clear of debris and trash to ensure a safe environment for citizens and employees.
• Operate semi truck to remove and replace solid waste trailers on site.
• Movement of materials around facility for proper storage and/or removal.
• Maintain environmental standards by cleaning up any spills that may occur at the facility.
• Traffic control and miscellaneous assistance.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of basic grounds maintenance practices of all applicable tools and equipment used in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Ability to use tools to assist in general site cleanup.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, walk throughout the site, stand for prolonged periods, squat, bend, twist, stretch, crawl, and reach overhead.
• Communicate effectively orally and in writing; develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
